3. Our room did have a distinctive smell when we arrived (must of been paint or something else) but it went away after our nose got use to it.

5. When you just enter the hotel, it looks old and has this smell to it but they were remodeling the lobby, so, we didn`t care.

6. The smell of the dehydrating pigeon and the years of 'residents' in the room meant we kept the one operating window wide open, but it let in the noise of sirens and homeless derelicts fighting in the alley below.

8. Well, I said that was unacceptable, so finally the receptionist found another room on the 6th floor that did not smell.

9. One of the rooms on the 6th floor was OK (not smelling like a bar), but the other one had both an ash tray in it as well as it was stinking of smoke.

10. Other than that, it is populated with drug-addled, wailing musicians that play horribly until 3am, the overpowering smell of roach spray and bleach permeates the whole hotel, the desk clerks tried to get me to pay cash (at a discount)so they could pocket the money, can't make long distance calls.
