5. The palce used to be called the globe hostel and the only sign showing that it was americas best value inn was a banner in the window, but that wasnt a problem.

6. As with many places in SF, there is no air conditioning, which was not a problem, except that this means that you may need to leave your window open, which exposes you to the noise of people standing and talking late at night outside of nearby taverns.
