4. Downtown Chicago is expensive so when we discovered that the Fairfield Inn near Michigan Ave had a suite for a reasonable amount we were pleasantly surprised.

5. Only down side was parking is expensive ($33 self park which required a walk or $42 valet /day)but I guess that is common for a big city.

6. Very convenient to have complimentary breakfast and we thought it had variety and healthy choices (though the bananas were so hard to find if you weren't early enough)The valet service was very helpful during the high season, since parking is either insanely expensive or impossible to find.

9. the only thing that was a negative to me was the EXPENSIVE valet charge ($40 per night) and you could park yourself for free, it cost $32 to self park.
