2. We asked to change rooms because of the bad fried chicken smell and Jazz noise and the staff almost laughed at us.

3. bring enough cash to pay for your room, YOU are going to be lugging your suitcases up multiple flights of stairs (no elevator), the rooms are small (I mean NYC small), the temperature of your room is not adjustable and you WILL hear the street noise below (this is no different than what 90% of the residents of NYC deal with everyday).
