1. Luckily due to the proximity to the Market, the cab rides (2 cabs needed) was not too expensive - but the inconvenience of waiting for a cab at the waterfront for over an hour each time with a line-up of typically over 50 people was WAY too annoying.

Some cons: The Internet connection was flaky on the last day of our stay; the parking structure is not for the faint-hearted, requiring precise navigation of your vehicle and expensive ($25 daily) to boot; the taxes add another $25 to your quoted price; the water for shower is not hot enough after a while.

10. While all of Seattle is expensive, and this place is no exception, we were able to get a nice suite with a meal (sometimes two) and drinks included for about $40 -50 less than other hotels nearby.
