1. The staff seemed very nice and quickly tried to fix problems and gave us a free breakfast for our trouble.

2. I know they have received a lot of complaints about the construction on Rio Grande, recently, but it truly is not a problem.

5. The problems with the hotel service included them not being able to actually schedule my reservation with the restaurant at the same property, the room service simply doesn't take phone calls during the day, despite being a non-smoking hotel the hotel employees smoke outside the check-in door (the only door that guest can enter to check-in and get to some of the rear mansion rooms), the check-in staff is not polite at all (it was the only time I have ever checked out of a hotel and not been asked how my stay was, in more than 40 hotel stays), not a single employee offered to help my wife and I with our bags even after they had to move around us as we traversed the steps.
"Looks nice but is quite a terrible hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/28/2007 Vote
6. The problems with the room included: Very dim lighting (day or night), a mini-bar that you had to duck to use, no bath tub, a VERY small bedroom, and a weird and unusuable living area.
