1. Although the place was moving with bugs, there were cigarette burns in the duvet cover, the walls were filthy, slander was scrawled over the 'Do not disturb' door hanger, scorch marks on the walls, the radiator didn't work, and the fan in the window was held in with duct tape.

9. Peeling paint and plaster, rotted bathtubs (you can't shower here, it's too disgusting), no battery in smoke detector, bugs in bathroom, no chain lock (missing), paper thin pillows with plastic sheet underneath linen, dirty and ripped carpets.
