1. Worse, they don't own and didn't plan the building, so they can't open a proper restaurant or cafe, move the hotel to a place that's actually within walking distance of a decent restaurant (and away from the noisy freeway that hurls traffic noise into any open window), add sidewalks to the road in case you do decide to walk somewhere, fix the balky, slow, 'high-speed' internet (which took 5 minutes to cue up a netflix streaming video, and kept having to stop and re-buffer), add microwaves and fridges to the rooms, or do whatever has to be done to properly convert a room from smoking to non- (the entire hotel is non-smoking, but you wouldn't know it from the leftover odors in my room).
