1. It is right in front of a huge street, Queens Blvd, as well as near the intersection of several highways/freeways, so expect a lot of noise.

2. On the minus side, the room was not well insulated from noise in the hallway (and the other residents weren't always as considerate as they could have been), the bullet-proof glass in the lobby was a bit intimidating (but, hey, this is NY), and I never really walked around the neighborhood at night (not saying I couldn't have, just that it didn't really invite a stroll).
