1. We were across from the lovely pool and spa, but there was no noise from there, or from the traffic or other vacationers.

2. Yes, there was sometimes a bit of noise late at night - the rooms are not soundproofed as well as they might be, but come on, this is Vegas, and at the price, you're not paying for complete perfection.
