3. I had a great time at The Hampton - my room was large and affordable, the staff were great and friendly to me and when I had a problem (I thought I'd thrown away an important document in the garbage by mistake) they clicked into overdrive to help me find it, which I was super-impressed with and super-grateful for.

7. Only problem is we had to climb six flights of stairs in the wee hours of the morning because the elevators were still stuck in the lobby after the fire alarm went off earlier in the evening.

9. The only non-family friendly problem was that a number of nearby eateries don't allow kids, since city has regs prohibiting kids in places which allow smoking.
