1. There was a bit of street noise, but it seemed to stop around midnight so it wasn't a problem for us.

2. There is plush carpeting on the hallways, so there is almost no noise from people walking or rolling luggage by.

Cons: No business/computer center in hotel (although there was free wifi, I wished I had access to a computer as I did not bring a laptop), not close to a Metro stop (I know they'll bus you out to one, but that's still inconvenient), somewhat noisy (can hear noise from other rooms as well as street noise).
