1. Family came along this business trip and kept busy, including a visit to the good Science Museum across the street and the nearby Carousel Mall for movies and shopping.

6. We had been upgraded at no charge from a Euro room (including champaigne and fruit basket) to a small suite, coffee and tea were on in the lobby 24/7, complimentary USA Today, Wall Street Journal and Syracuse newspapers were there for the reading.

7. Even though it is in busy, parking nightmare Armory Square District, parking is a breeze if you are staying at the hotel since there is a small lot behind the building and if that is full there is a parking garage a half block up the street for which the hotel will validate your parking fee.
