6. The positives during our stay were that the hotel was clean, has free internet/wifi connection, very friendly staff, continental breakfast (which I didn't take advantage of), and conveniently located on State Street.

7. Still the free breakfast in the morning and great location easily makes up for this and at under $200/night it's hard to find anything comparable in Santa Barbara.
