1. The breakfasts were nice (although I'd have liked brown sugar for the daily oatmeal) and the Manager's Receptions were plentiful and particularly comfortable for solo travelers because the bar staff is friendly and they play a movie while you eat your free food and sip your adequate wine or beer.

2. * I could talk about all the restaurants, bars, and fun stuff you can easily walk to on the River walk, but that would be a whole other review.

3. However, they are fun bars with live music/djs on weekends and you will get more for your money as far as alcohol.

4. The worst:- One night we were having drinks at the bar/restaurant area of the hotel and forget to take with us a small bag with a expensive digital camera.

5. the bad, a walk to the parking, near train tracks and bar with outdoor concerts on some weekends (be sure to ask for a room on the other side of hotel) we did and it was fine.

9. If your looking for riverwalk nightlife, stay closer to the riverwalk, as these bars are filled with locals rather than tourists.
