1. The park across the street looks sketchy but hop in your car to drive a few blocks away to a nice shopping and dining area.

4. The hotel is close to Pioneer Park and there are a number of homeless people hanging around the streets, although they do not hassle you so we never felt afraid or uncomfortable.

6. There are some homeless in the park across the street, as mentioned in previous reviews, but we never saw them on our side of the street and there are no more there than in any other part of downtown SLC.

10. The hotel is on the edge of downtown and as several reviews stated before, there are derelicts, addicts, hookers and drug dealers in the park across the street.
