1. Hotel front staff was smiling, helpful and very welcoming and made me feel like they actually cared dearly about their guests, which is not always the impression you get when arriving at a big chain hotel.

3. The room had a bottle of 'VIP Water' which looked almost identical to the single FREE bottle many hotels give you upon check in - surprise, it was not free ($3.50).
