There aremany restaurants and bars within walking distance and main
street
and the TRAX station are right there should you want to take a quick trip to the gateway (an outdoor mall).

Bottom line we will not stay at another hotel since we stayed at the Sheraton down the
street

There is one right across the
street
from the convension center and has a Starbucks, and then there is the Marriott that I stayed at that seems to be newer and a little more up scale and has more amenities but location wise isnt as great.

The hotel itself had a nice workout facility that had windows all around looking out onto the

from the second floor.

As its name indicates it is in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, one block from the TRAX light rail line on Main
Street
which allowed me to do without a rental car.
