We took a late flight so we did not arrive at Raleigh/Durham airport until about 11:30 p.m. We only had carry on luggage so we got through the airport, got a cab ($21 airport to hotel), and arrived at the hotel by midnight (Hampton does have an airport shuttle but it stops running earlier than our arrival).

5. We had to get to the airport to pick up a rental car and the hotel had their shuttle take us there and they waited with us to be sure everything was set before they left.
