1. While the area the hotel is in is quite run down, a short walk west finds you in an area of beautiful heritage homes and treed streets.

8. It is LOUD, you can hear conversations from the street and the entire room shakes and shimmers (similar to a small earthquake) as any vehicle larger than an SUV passes by.

9. If you happen to stay on the west side of the hotel, you are located directly off of what has to be one of the busiest streets in Portland 24/7.

10. The room was on an end by the street and I suppose there must have been a grate, drain, or manhole-cover near by because all night we heard a loud CLUNK CLUNK sound.
