1. There is a beautiful lake surrounding the property and they offer a boat to get to the main area along with boat rentals for family use.

4. This resort has it all - pools, lake with paddleboats, other watersports, a challenging 9 hole mini golf course, a Nick Faldo real golf course, surrey bicycles-fun!, perfect small meal/snack choices for any meal poolside.

6. Probably not dangerous, but I would watch my kids by the waters edge none the less in case he likes to travel to other parts of the lake, and I wouldn't dangle my hand in the water if you rent the paddle boats.

7. Lastly, there is a least one alligator in the lake that likes to hang out near or on the golf course across from the nature deck trail.

8. Harbour Lake is clearly better for families with young children and Lakeshore Reserve is clearly better for families with older children.
