4. If you`re here to party and hit the Quarter, then you might consider staying there because it`s a long walk back at night (not necessarily scary, although I`m a big guy who lives in a big city -- anyone who feels vulnerable in urban areas at night should NOT make the walk from the FQ back alone).

5. We wanted a room w/a King and the first night we got in late and all they had left was 2 doubles and so we had to switch the 2nd day.

6. A cab ride from the airport is only $28, but parking is about $20 a night at the hotel and you`ll never find a place to park if you try to drive to the Quarter.

7. My husband and I bought our room from hotwire and believe, because we only used the hotel for sleeping and showering, we received a good value for our three-night stay at $85 per night.

8. We got it during Jazzfest for $95/night through Hotwire, which is about all I`d pay on a busy weekend like that, and I`d pay $75 tops on a non-busy week.
