1. We were only one mile from the Grand Ole Opry, plenty of walking distance restaurants (our favorite is John A's accross the street with great entertainment, food and drinks), and near enough to the parkway for easy access, with none of the noise.

2. The hotel is also located close enough to town, so if you want to stroll the city streets (as we did) a day or two, its not a far drive, maybe 15 minutes or so.
