Perhaps we are comparing the EconoLodge to such horrible motels as the Red Roof Inn (paper thin walls and people banging on doors at 3am) and the Days Inn (car broken into, no security cameras, and apathetic staff), that the EconoLodge doesn't seem bad in relation to the other cheap hotels here.
