6. I'm unsure if it was an upgrade or not, but again, the room far exceeded our expectations in terms of size, amenities, cleanliness, etc. All areas of the hotel appeared impeccably clean, with no signs of disrepair anywhere (an issue that we've sometimes noticed in other historical hotels).

8. The Hotel is a fantastic blend of the older art-deco architecture and a great modern room amenities(flat screen TVs, [it seemed like] new carpet and furniture, etc.) The service staff was really great.
