1. This motel is located just a few blocks away from downtown Miami and we paid $52 for a family of 4 with AAA card (about $58 with the tax) so we didn't expect Hilton.

2. Advertised as a hotel close to the airport, it was a 20 minute drive at 9:30 p.m. on a Monday night, a long drive downtown, to a hotel with security windows and cameras everywhere indicating the quality of neighborhood.

3. At least the place was conveniently close to a public transit station, so getting to downtown Miami was quick and easy.
