1. The breakfast is pretty good (and included in the cost of the room), but the dining room is no great shakes and the crowd is kind of "Old Country Buffet"ish.

2. Traffic is never a problem in Spokane, so staying in the Valley when visiting a college student isn't really an inconvenience--and you avoid the premium of (and the cost of parking) downtown.
