1. The surrounding area is also not great, and unless you want fast food or other junk, of which there's copious local choices, be prepared to travel to dine (I had to drive five miles to find a decent restaurant for tea).

5. Gotta love this place - yes it's kitsch, and the Elvis theme wears thin very quickly if you're not a devoted fan, but look at it objectively - it's clean, it's got a pulse, the pool is great, and it's in the best part of Memphis, with decent shops and food all nearby.

7. There are plenty of restaurants/fast food and grocery stores within 1 mile of the motel, the service was great and the free breakfast included waffles, fruit, toast, cereal etc.Yes, our mattresses were a little hard, but when you get all of this, plus a micro/.

9. Absolutely perfect for visting Graceland, we could practically see those white gates from our bedroom window and all the Elvis gift shops, restaurants (mostly fast food) etc were just a very short walk away.
