1. It's a shame that the choices right now seem to be very nice but way high end waterfront places like the DoubleTree or dumpster dives like this.

2. Highly recommended is to go downtown San Pedro, 7th Street to waterfront to the great Fisherman's Warf area with multiple restaurants all serving fresh fish to order at great prices.
