1. In my time there I also visited Universal Studios LA by riding the Metro one stop to Universal City (do this!it'll cost you $1.50 each way instead of $9 for a shuttle or more for a cab), and Warner Bros Studios, which was a $17 cab ride from the Renaissance Hotel cab rank (2 minutes from Hollywood Celebrity Hotel.

2. The only issue we had was with limited parking, but we were able to leave our car in the parking garage of the Kodak Theater and the hotel refunded the money it cost to park.

6. The trip back to the airport was handled by the front desk as they contract with a shuttle and that trip cost $31 for two people and they were right on time, actually early.

9. Rather than booking tours online, walk around the tourist areas and negotiate with the vendors as they are willing to sell tours below the listed cost if they arent busy.
