1. The biggest perk is that it's on the same side of the highway as the hotel and there are sidewalks so it's perfectly safe to walk to these places without the dangers of crossing the highway.

2. If you are only staying one night there is a restaurant at the next hotel within walking distance which we always dine at.

3. The side of the highway it's on even has some restaurants that you can walk to (important since we didn't have a car!) Doubletree inn;'s restaurant in a short walk away, so is JackNBox, taco bell, and a small strip mall which has a Chinese place (kung food, which is decent.

4. As some previous reviewers mentioned there's a Jack in the Box and a Taco Bell right next to it and an Italian restaurant and Subway within a 5min walk along a pavement.
