3. The hotel appears to be renovated to look even better; there were free scrumptious cookies in the lobby in the afternoons and the breakfast was not to be missed (omelet bar, fresh blueberries and pineapple, even poundcake!).

It has an adjoining bar/breakfast area; on checkin, I was told that there was no room service (!) but that you could either walk to the cafes/restaurants immediately outside the hotel, or else order delivery from a wide range of menus - Chinese, Italian, burgers etc etc. Check-in was fast with no problems - staff were friendly, efficient and VERY helpful and a number of occasions.
