1. Location was good & bad: easy walking distance to the 5th Street Public Market & Saturday's ('awesome') Farmers Market BUT 6th Avenue being a major one-way street meant the heavy traffic noise only abated from late night to early morning.

3. i was thinking since the hotel was built in the 60s and renovated in 1997, it shouldn`t be too bad, and i was pleasantly surprised.
