1. This is a property that has changed hands many times over the years, and the current owners have done a good job of making some nice updates to the hotel.

3. BUT THE DANG TRAIN RUNNING PAST THE HOTEL TWICE DURING THE NIGHT (at like 1 AM and 5 AM) WITH IT'S HORN BLOWING AND SQUEAKING, CREAKING WHEELS was enough to make sure that I will never stay here again.

5. By the time the courtesy bus dropped us off at the lobby of the stunning, modern hotel, we were absolutely exhausted as well as ready to eat a couple of horses.

7. Other than the surprise charge on my credit card, and a very long train that tooted it's whistle through the night (there's a railroad right next door), we did have a lovely stay at the hotel.
