1. The doors slammed shut and you could always hear them as people arrived and departed, the hairdryer was literally deafening - it was almost painful to use it.

2. Another room became available the 2nd day of our stay, and since we were going to be out when the room was scheduled to be cleaned and ready, a staff member moved our luggage for us and we picked up our key to the new room when we arrived back at the hotel.
