1. I did like I could walk across the street to Winking Lizard (sports bar and grill) or next door to Hyde Park Steak house (HIGHLY recommended)--they even have a cheaper Happy Hour menu with 4.00 martinis and cheap food.

2. The usual 'Manager's Reception' had great food (although apparently state or local laws require them to charge $1 for the beer instead of giving it for free), and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
