This hotel earned my 'excellence' rating because of the historic beauty of the hotel; the very quiet and peaceful stay we had the entire time we were there (we literally heard no one the entire time we were there, and the hotel was very busy); the friendliness of the staff; the comfort of the room; and the excellent food.
