1. The place is still colonial and very well run by the Mexican and Caribbean work force, African American Indian features are common so one is not completely overrun by Boston finance and high rise, streets wide except in old brick paved.

2. The Inbound Red line connects with the other main lines at convenient transfers (Downtown Crossing and Park Street) -- We took the subway to both Fenway Park (Red Sox) and TD Centre (Celtics) -- If in town for either, this is a reasonable place to stay to get to either.

3. My GPS did not recognize address but if you call the hotel they'll give you a different address--Allstate Street.

6. As for the hotel's location, yes even with the updated address provided for me by the hotel management (8 Allstate Road as opposed to 63R Boston Street), I still had to seek out how to actually get to the hotel.

8. Getting into the hotel parking lot was not as easy as we had hoped given the one way streets, etc. But once we were there the service was very good.

10. The location wasn`t a huge deal for us, but if you get nervous of dark streets with homeless people, then it`s not a good walk, but the train is close enough.
