Try Globe Cafe for a casual
lunch
or Vlora for dinner (both on nearby Boylston Street) or The Daily Grill at The Prudential Centre (10 min walk away) .

However, be aware they have a happening Irish Bar in the basement, so you are likely to run into people filtering out or smoking outside the hotel after 10 p.m. We did not partake in the festivities except for
lunch
on a Sunday afternoon, the food was very good.
