The hotel itself was very nice, with a spacious lobby which had a self-service snack bar, a computer with internet access, an area with tables which had the no-host 'happy hour' reception (cheese, crackers, nuts, swedish meatbals, fruit, cookies, etc) and the extended continental breakfast (bagles, cream cheese, various bread and roll varieties, cold cereal, hot oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, make-your-own-waffles, etc).
