3. A nice restaurant called Duke's just opened down the beach at the new Honua Kai resort and a supermarket is located right across the street.

5. We enjoy staying on the Kaanapali side of Maui where the beaches are wonderful and there is a lot to do in Lahaina which is a 10 minute drive from this hotel.

7. The hotel pool is lovely, however, he beach at the hotel is steep-pitched and rather rough; snorkeling is 200 yards down the beach in one direction and body surfing 100 yards down in the opposite direction.
