1. There is a choice of rooms in the 'tower' (main building, with elevator), or around the pool (more motel-like, with stairs).
"Basic, cheap & clean " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/18/2011 Vote
2. I paid for the upgraded 'Oasis Pool King' room and my friends got the '18 Karat King' room.
"Cheap, but you also get what you pay for " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/9/2011 Vote
3. There's a big metal security wall around the rooms by the pool, and there are two small parking lots that fill up quickly.
"Basic, cheap & clean " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/18/2011 Vote
4. The rooms around the pool area were almost exactly the same, right down to the picture hanging on the wall.

5. My advice, if you stay there, make sure you stay in the main tower, not the 'Oasis Pool Rooms', dont count on the internet working all the time, dont expect too much, and if you need more than 1 pillow, bring your own.

6. It does have a pool, but the only elevator did not work, the internet was out 3 of the 5 days I was there, and the maid insisted we open the door one morning when she showed our room as empty on her list (when we were there on day 3 of 5).

7. The pictures for the 'Oasis Pool King' room are inaccurate at best.

9. 1) The price is right 2) The location, 1 block from Freemont 3) The entire staff, including the security guards 4) The restaurant, $4.99 prime rib, The Full House breakfast 5) The renovated casino, bar, and restaurant makes it look quite elequant 6) The potential, the outside is coming along, the pool should be constructed soon, and the addition of more rooms, including the continuation of the renovating of the existing tower will make this a reasonable and fun place to stay in the future.
"Gold Spike comes through again " Read full review on Expedia   11/14/2009 Vote
