5. I booked on line and got a seniors rate of $45 including tax, very good value for a spacious room with comfortable king bed, fridge, microwave, TV, in-room safe large enough for a laptop computer, and free wireless internet connection.

10. It certainly is not a luxurious property, but the rates are moderate and it is a 15 or 20 minute walk to the Strip and the Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Tropicana, and MGM Grand.
