In October, the fresh pasta bar
cost
$5.99 for soup salad and freshly cooked pasta.

The way I look at it is that since they are not as grandeose they have to try harder to get the clients in the door and make you feel welcome at a fraction of the
cost
of staying and playing on the strip; take the local transit to where you want to go but everything is very close to this hotel for anything you need rather than walking 4 blocks to reach your next (hotel/casino) destination.

Catch it at level zero, it
cost
s $2, takes about an hour to get downtown (give or take - one time it took me 40 minutes, another time a little more than an hour - plan on 90 minutes and you should be fine).

The low
cost
for the room and the special offer for daily breakfast more than paid for our rental car and allowed us the flexibility to see Vegas on our own schedule.
