Candlewood Suites, a block or two over from the Strip, just off Flamingo on Paradise, is one of a chain of suite hotels under the InterContinental Hotels group - InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn etc. It operates as a suites hotel rather than a full-service hotel, which means you don't get hassled by housekeeping every day; that suits me - so I have to make my own bed.

2. Being an extended stay property, housekeeping only comes once a week, so you will have to 'maintain' your room yourself for the most part - but that suited us just fine as we tended to sleep/be out at odd hours and didn't wish to be disturbed by housekeeping knocking at the door each morning.

3. One word of caution, it is an extended stay property and housekeeping is only done weekly or prior to a new guest arrival.

8. The only thing I didn't like was that because this is an extended stay facility, housekeeping doesn't come daily.

9. In order to reduce costs and offer more value to guests, the Candlewood Suites performs weekly housekeeping; but they provide clean towels upon request.
