1. For me the choice was based on location - I needed to be near the airport for a 7am flight on New Year's Day.

2. The rooms were comfy, clean, large and the hotel has lots of character, built like a big saloon, it's one of the old local hotels NOT located on the strip but I liked that it was not too far from the attractions while far enough that you could get a good night's sleep.

7. Hotel/casino is located south of downtown LV along Boulder Highway, just north of Desert Inn Road, and it is a fair drive from the airport and the Strip.
