1. Several restaurants and other shopping are within walking distance, although you certainly need a car to get around this area.

3. There are some decent restaurants around (if you like Thai, head for Archi's, a short walk away), and there's a grocery store within walking distance, along with a lot of other stuff.

5. Near hiking, biking trails,shopping, grocery store, pharmacy, casinos, many restaurants, movie theater, library (next door), quick-care, etc. It's a very short drive to the Las Vegas Strip.

8. The hotel is a little hard to spot on Sahara, but there is everything in the way of stores and restaurants within a couple of miles.

9. If you are an Orthodox Jewish traveler (as I am) it has some additional pluses: it's convenient for kosher restaurants, it is literally next door to an Orthodox synagogue and they will (on request) put you in a room that has a traditional key rather than a key card.
