3. The carpets were worn and looked dirty, the room decor was dated and worn as well, and the bathroom shower didn't work properly (half the water was coming out from the spout instead of the shower head)and the couches had stains on the cushions.

4. The rooms are well appointed and have a circular flow pattern (living room, bedroom, sink, shower + toilet, and back) which is a welcome change from the usual shoebox configuration.
