3. The front desk clerk did advise us that we can take a short cut back to the hotel from the park but not into the park which was good enough for me since we were tired coming back not going to Disneyland.

You can purchase one way trips on the trolley itself or day passes at Disneyland or the hotel front desk -- just make sure you know what Number Trolley you board as all the different routes are numbered and NONE of the Drivers know where the Courtesy Inn is****It`s also not really close to any restaurants that we saw.
