3. With very young kids, take the shuttle, but our grandkids ages 7&9 did fine, even returning after a long day when we didn't want to wait for the shuttle.

4. Also, the #10 shuttle stops right outside the hotel and takes you right to the park entrance for a small fee; I see someone complained that there is a fee, but it's cheap, and an option if you're too tired or out of shape to walk the short distance.

9. Through Priceline, I've been able to pay $45-65 a night, usually without microwave, refrigerator, or free wireless, nor know exactly where we'd end up--one walkable mile from Disneyland, or 3 miles and depending on an hourly shuttle.
